Iago Ríos

Iago Rios Martinez studied at the Conservatory of Music of A Coruña with Arturo Centelles. For two years, he is taught by Jon Etterbeek in the Escola de Altos Estudos Musicais de Galicia.

Between 2001 and 2004 he is part of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Galicia, where his teacher is Petur Eirikson. In the field of contemporary music it is part of the Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo (TAC) and Vertixe Sonora Ensemble. Participates in chamber music projects: Omega Brass Ensemble, Brass and Hercules Galicia Brass Ensemble, among others. He is invited regularly to play with the Real Filharmonía de Galicia and has also been the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, also collaborating with orchestras such as the Sinfónica de Navarra y Castilla y Leon.

During the 2006-2007 season it is part of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Extremadura as co-principal trombone.

Since 2009 he teaches at the Conservatory of Music of A Coruña.
